Do you accept walk-ins?

Accepted Answer

Yes — walk-ins are welcome at our Protaras studio whenever we have a free slot. Smaller and simpler pieces can often be done on the spot, especially outside peak summer hours. That said, availability changes quickly, so it is always worth messaging ahead to check. For larger or fully custom work we usually book a dedicated appointment so your artist can prepare the design properly.

How do I book or request a quote?

The easiest way is to send us your idea through the quote form on this site, or message us on Instagram (@vaskoz_tattoo), Facebook or WhatsApp. Include a rough description, the placement, an approximate size and any reference images you like. We will reply with a price estimate, honest advice and the next available slot. You are welcome to visit the studio in person too.

Can tourists get a same-day tattoo while on holiday?

Accepted Answer

Very often, yes. We tattoo a lot of visitors staying around Protaras, Fig Tree Bay and Ayia Napa, and we understand holidays are short. For a small or medium design we can frequently fit you in the same day or next day. Message us as early in your trip as you can — the sooner we know your idea, the better we can hold time for you during the busy summer season.

How does pricing work?

Every tattoo is quoted individually, so we do not publish fixed prices. The cost depends on the design, size, placement, level of detail and the style you choose — a small fine-line piece and a large black-and-grey sleeve are very different pieces of work. Send us your idea and we will give you a clear, honest estimate up front, with no surprises before you sit down.

Is a deposit required?

For custom appointments a small deposit may be requested to secure your booking and your artist’s time, particularly for larger pieces or busy holiday dates. The deposit goes toward the final price of your tattoo. For quick walk-ins a deposit is usually not needed. We will always explain any deposit clearly when you book, so nothing is unexpected.

How do you handle hygiene and sterilization?

Hygiene is treated as non-negotiable. We use single-use, sterile needles that are opened in front of you and disposed of after every client, along with fresh gloves, barriers and single-use supplies. Equipment is properly sterilized and the studio is kept spotless. Vaskoz Tattoo operates as a licensed studio following professional health and safety standards, so you can relax and enjoy the experience.

What is the minimum age, and do I need ID?

You must be 18 or over to be tattooed, and we ask for valid photo ID to confirm your age — a passport or national ID card is ideal, which is handy for travelling clients. We do not tattoo minors, even with parental consent. If you are unsure whether your document is suitable, just ask us beforehand and we will let you know what to bring.

What about aftercare in the Cyprus heat — can I swim in the sea afterwards?

Accepted Answer

Please avoid the sea, pools and direct sun on a fresh tattoo for around two weeks while it heals. Cyprus sun and salt water can fade colour, irritate the skin and risk infection. Keep it clean and moisturised, wear loose clothing and use high-factor sunblock once fully healed. We give every client detailed aftercare guidance, so your piece heals beautifully even in a hot Protaras summer.

We cover a wide range of styles: fine-line, black and grey, realism, lettering and script, cover-ups of older tattoos, and fully custom designs drawn around your idea. Whether you want something small and delicate or a larger detailed piece, we will talk through what will work best for the placement and your skin, then design it specifically for you.

What languages do you speak, and where are you located?

We speak English and Greek, so most visitors and locals feel right at home. You will find us on Protaras Avenue in the heart of Protaras (Paralimni), a short stroll from Fig Tree Bay and an easy drive from Ayia Napa and Cape Greco. There is street parking nearby.
